Compact infrared calibration and test source PYROTHERM CCS 130 for on-site installations
16. Jan 2022
Black bodies of the PYROTHERM product range from DIAS Infrared enable the calibration and testing of pyrometers and thermal imaging cameras for non-contact temperature measurement. The new infrared calibration and test source CCS 130 is a small, compact and robust device that is particularly suitable for on-site installation in infrared temperature measurement systems. It is also used, for example, as a reference radiator in the DIAS early fire detection system PYROVIEW FDS.
Calibration source with high stability
The temperature of the CCS 130 black body is factory-set (fixed) between 30 °C and 130 °C. The surface radiator has an emissivity of 0.98 + 0.01 (wavelength range 8 µm to 14 µm) and an aperture of 55 mm diameter. The dimensions of the housing are 120 mm x 120 mm x 90 mm. Electrical connections are available for power supply (24 V DC), RUN input, READY output and service. A precise PID temperature control guarantees a high stability of the radiator.
More types available
Within the PYROTHERM product line, the cavity radiators CS 1500 and CS 1200 (300 °C to 1500 °C or 1200 °C) and the surface radiatorss CS 500 (50 °C to 500 °C), CS 400 (50 °C to 400 °C) and CS 120 (-15 °C to 120 °C) are available. Here the user can set the desired temperature within the temperature range himself.
The calibration and test sources PYROTHERM are supplemented by a series of transfer radiation thermometers PYROSPOT cal for temperatures between 0 °C and 2500 °C in different wavelength ranges (LWIR, MWIR and NIR).
