Pyroelectric high-detectivity detectors for process and environmental measurement technology
14. April 2025
The pyroelectric infrared detectors of the PYROSENS series from DIAS Infrared have been successfully used for many years in gas analysis, spectroscopy, non-contact temperature measurement, and radiation measurement devices. The detector elements are made of the pyroelectric material lithium tantalate, which enables very high signal-to-noise ratios or specific detectivities D* as well as excellent temperature and long-term stability of the detector properties. With large values of the specific detectivity D*, high detection sensitivities of the infrared measuring devices can be achieved, for example, very low gas concentrations can be measured. read on…

New pyrometer with fiber optics for temperature measurement from 100°C
1. April 2025
The long-standing, proven PYROSPOT pyrometer series 44 from DIAS Infrared has now been expanded with another fiber optic device, the DGEF 44N, for non-contact temperature measurement from 100°C to 1200°C. With its spectral range of 2.0 µm to 2.6 µm, the pyrometer is particularly suitable for measurements on metals and ceramics. read on…
